Change the way you do your weekly food shopping with NeighbourFood in Belfast.
Neighbourfood is an online weekly farmers' market which brings together a network of local farmers' and artisan food producers. We enable you to support local farmers and producers on a weekly basis through a safe and contactless 'Click & Collect' contactless shopping experience.
Every week you'll find great products direct from local farms and food producers, local market traders and specialist suppliers, from locally grown seasonal and freshly harvested vegetables, fruit, meat, eggs, dairy products, preserves and chutneys, breads and much more. We promise there will be a core product selection with weekly and seasonal options to keep things interesting. Please note though that you are not committed to shopping weekly if that is too much for you - just click and collect as suits you.
Neighbourfood EastSide will be a destination for your core food needs for weekly healthy and nutrition-rich food and also the place where you can mix things up for the weekend or occasional splurge. Our team of producer and foodie friends will provide budget-friendly dishes to feed the family and also provide inspiration to ensure that your kitchen becomes a no-waste zone!
How NeighbourFood works:
1. Our online market will open on a Friday for you to browse through and select from the fresh produce and artisan foods on offer from local producers. There will be a core selection of products with weekly and seasonal offers to keep things interesting.
2. The online market will stay open until midnight every Tuesday, giving you 5 days to prepare your weekly food shop.
3. When the market closes, the orders are sent to our producers to give them time to get your orders ready.
4. Collection day will be a Thursday from 5pm-7pm. Producers drop off all their orders to us, where we sort them ready for collection. During this period of Covid-19, we ask that you bring your own bags to pack your orders into, that way reducing cross-contact.
5. Collection point is Portview Trade Centre, 310 Newtownards Rd, Belfast . BT4 1HE
COVID-19 precautions:
NeighbourFood is a contactless shopping experience making it the safest way to shop during the COVID Pandemic. Our producers take every precaution to ensure that their products are grown or prepared in a safe environment & all products will be placed into boxes while following social distancing guidelines. Customers can simply collect their boxes, one at a time. You can bring it straight to your car or to an area where you can pack your bag. The boxes will be placed in a designated spot after each use & sanitised before they are used again.
