Mary Button t/a Really Good Cheese and Staffordshire Cheese - Applebys Double Gloucester

A traditional hard pressed cheese from unpasteurised milk, using animal rennet. The cheese is traditionally coloured with rennet, a plant based food colouring, to give it a warm red hue. The cheese is rounded and nutty, with a hint of acidity. This cheese is traditionally rolled down Coopers Hill in Gloucestershire on Whit Monday!
