I began selling high quality traditional cheeses in 2005, standing on my local market as a `Shop Local` initiative, as I wanted to encourage people to use their local market. In 2017 I took over the Staffordshire Cheese Company, and with my excellent team of 2 produce a variety of local cheeses at Leek in the Staffordshire Moorlands. We make Dovedale Blue, Buxton Blue and of course Staffordshire, for which we won Gold, Silver and Bronze at Melton Mowbray Artisan Cheese Awards in 2018 and 2019 as well as a small range of blended cheese, such as Black and Blue, which is Dovedale with Black Pepper. We also make butter and small batches of goats cheese. All the cheese we make is from pasteurised milk and vegetarian rennet. You will find me on a few local markets and events.
