Wolf Wine - Venezia Giulia Igt Refosco 2.25Ltr

Dispite being relatively unknown Refosco is on of Italy's oldest red grapes, dating back to the Romans. This particular example is from the Martincigh family in Fruili, Northern Italy. The Martincigh family have been running their small, sustainable winery located in the heart of Fruili for over a decade. Refosco is very similar to the more famous 'sangiovese' grape. Unlike most Refoscos, this is packaged in 2.25Ltr bag in box to help reduce the carbon footprint of glass shippin. All in all, you can expect a light - medium bodied wine with gentle flavours of raspberry, cranberry and cedar. Vegan Certified. - (12.5% ABV)
