Ryan Owens Chocolate - Dark Chocolate Truffles

Superior quality dark chocolate truffles made with single origin chocolate from the finest Peruvian cocoa beans to give an outstanding flavour. This 65% dark chocolate couverture has a very long-lasting taste with a rich and aromatic flavour profile. The truffles are filled with an exceptionally smooth fresh cream dark chocolate ganache encased in a dark chocolate shell, which is lighted dusted with the finest cocoa powder.

The 65% dark chocolate couverture comes exclusively from Alto El Sol; a community of 130 families entirely dedicated to agriculture and livestock farming in the central Huallaga region of Peru. Their main agricultural activity is growing cocoa where cultivars of Criollo and Trinitario cocoa hybrids have been developed. There are eight producers with the Alto el Sol Cocoa denomination of origin, growing cocoa trees on 65 hectares.
