Kingdom Firewood - Kiln Dried Kindling Chunks

Our kiln dried kindling chunks are a great alternative to our kiln dried hardwood kindling. They are a by-product of the neighbouring potato farm beside us in Kingskettle, Fife. The potato farmers cannot use them in their biomass boilers as they are too chunky but simply too good to waste! We have found that we use less kindling to get the fire started with these little nuggets of gold. Who said kindling needed to be sticks?!

At Kingdom Firewood we try to consider our environmental impact as much as we can and that is why we sell our kiln dried hardwood kindling in a 3 ply paper vegetable sack instead of a single use netted bag. As well as reducing our plastic waste the paper sack also means there is less mess for you to worry about as the kindling is contained within the sack and no small bits can break off!
