Individual & Ecological Health - Cherry Laurel
Cherry laurel is an evergreen shrub, which has naturalised in the UK. It is an easy hedge plant, easy to maintain at lower heights and has lots of white flowers in the spring, which are appreciated by a number of pollinators. The berries provide food for birds. It can grow relatively quickly (up to 30 cm per year) and needs to be cut back, but is a nice garden asset. It only survives a few weeks in pots and prefers to be replanted in the garden.
