Bulgur wheat is rich in protein and minerals and has a nutty taste.
Bulgur is an edible cereal grain made from dried, cracked wheat — most commonly durum wheat but also other wheat species. When cooked, it has a similar consistency to couscous or quinoa.
Cooking Instructions
1. Add to pan and bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat and cook for 2 minutes.
3. After turning off the heat, cover the pan and let stand for 4-5 minutes.
4. Drain off the excess water and serve.
