Earthed Up! - Ground Cover Raspberry Betty Ashburner
Rubus calycinoides. Perennial, evergreen raspberry relative.
It doesn't produce the raspberry fruit that we all know, rather it gives a small crop of small, delicate berries. It, however, is happy to grow in shade and tolerates some foot traffic. Spreads gradually by tip-layering - rooting where it touches the ground.
The stems have soft bristles, not thorns.
Supplied bareroot
