Hearty, complex and satisfying red reminiscent of a good Cote Du Rhone. Giving hints wild herbs on the nose this dark, full-bodied wine has lots of fresh, cool, ripe, red fruit, balanced by peppery, savoury characters from the Syrah and Mourvèdre. This is all underpinned by restrained and fine, chalky tannins. Food match Côte de Boeuf, lamb cutlets with rosemary, saussison sec, mature hard cheeses. 14% ABV
