Birken Tree - Birch Leaf Tea

Wild harvested spring birch leaves for a refreshing green taste infusion.

Each leaf is harvested by hand during spring time in the native woodlands of Perthshire, when the leaves are still bright green and tender. They are then dried naturally before being sealed in their bag.
Crush few leaves and let infuse in hot water for 10min in your tea pot. Event better with peppermint 🙂
For a good flush, take 3 cups a day for 3 weeks.

You can even use the infusion in a hot bath to help soothing sore muscles (tip: add few drops of lavender oil to help relaxing the nervous system).
The birch leaves have been known since a long time for their anti-inflammatory properties. They help flushing the urinary system, along with kidneys, becoming a good help for an urinary tract or bladder infection, and for kidney stones.

They help reducing fluid retention and swellings, uric acid and toxins, helping with gout and rheumatism.

They have a great potential locally for the skin, helping with cellulite, acne, eczema.

Birch leaf tea also contains several natural antioxidants in the form of flavonoids and vitamin C, which can further improve general health.
