This Coconut Tawashi Brush was invented by Mr Seizaemon Nishio in 1907, they became very popular and are now standard in most homes. Quite rightly too. The Save Some Green Tawashi uses fibre from Coconut palms to give a sustainable biodegradable super versatile brush. These are crafted in Sri Lanka.
You can use to clean anything, being coconut fibre it isn’t going to scratch your pans.

It is fantastic for cleaning veg for your Sunday roast and for the washing up after the roast and cool boxes after messy picnics and the bath and the sink and the plant pots in the garden and the mud off the wellies and so on and so on.. The list is endless…

When you finally defeat this resilient little brush, give it a befitting send-off and put it in the compost. Next year it will be feeding your tomatoes.
