Crooked Boot Farm and Nursery

Crooked Boot Farm, Derrycarhoon, Ballydehob, County Cork, P81NA00

Crooked Boot Farm is the creation and home of Lucy and Aimi. We started this journey together in 2018 with a vision of creating a business with sustainability and nature at its core. We are both passionate about plants, animals and the environment, and it is these important components that inform the choices we make when creating the products we sell.

In our nursery we grow beautiful garden plants, herbs and edibles that are perfect for cottage gardens or permaculture style holdings. All our plants are grown by us on our farm in West Cork. We focus on plants that are great for pollinating insects and other wildlife, as well as useful herbs for human consumption. For these reasons, it is important to us that we use no harmful chemicals or fertilisers when we grow our produce so that they are truly nature and human friendly!

Our ethos is to make low impact and sustainable choices. So, as well as no harmful chemicals, we use peat-free organic compost for all our plants and this year, we have moved to selling our stock in plastic free pots!
