Wild Thyme - Extra Large Ribes Sanguineum 'King Edward Vii' - Flowering Currant

Title Price
1 Item £25.50
A deciduous, spring-flowering, ornamental shrub with clusters of deep cerise, tubular flowers, held like small bunches of grapes.
Flowers are followed by spherical, blue-black fruit.
This popular, and heavy blooming, form of flowering currant is compact and upright in habit, making it ideal for where border space is limited or for growing as an informal, flowering hedge.
To prevent the plant from becoming congested; in late summer remove any dead or diseased branches and reduce the flowered shoots to a strong, lower bud.
Upright shrub to 6ft (2m)
All parts of the plant are fragrant.
Flowers and fruits and leaves are edible, but eating the flowers will reduce the fruit yield.
Fully hardy.
Flowers April-May
Really easy to grow in any position in any soil.

Available as a semi-mature shrub for instant impact approx 3 - 4ft tall in a 10L pot.
Shelf Life: 0 Years
