Wild Thyme - Bronze Fennel -Foeniculum Vulgare

A fantastic edible herb that tastes great with fish and looks beautiful in the herb garden but can also work as a stunning ornamental towards the back of the herbaceous border where it forms a large clump of soft, feathery purple-bronze foliage. The foliage forms a beautiful backdrop for other flowering perennials and the perfect foil for the delicate yellow, Cow Parsley-like flowers that bloom from July - August.
