So-called because of the distinctive large, pink-flushed, balloon-shaped swellings, behind each of the white flowers.
A tall meadow perennial, which looks so pretty in the middle of the border.
Height 2-3ft.
The flowers have a delicious, clove-like scent and attract butterflies.
Prefers a sunny, well-drained site.
Young leaves are edible and are great as an addition to summer salads.
Blooms May - September.
Fully hardy British native wildflower.
Available in a 1L pot.
