The Olive Stall - Nicoise Olives

Nicoise are also called pichounette, a small wild Spanish olive variety the Coquillos.

These dark purple, small olives are harvested fully ripe and then stored for one year in an aromatic brine. The sweet, deep olive flavor is typical of the Coquillos olives (pronounced coe-kee-ose). Especially suitable for tapas, antipasti, salads (especially salad Nicoise) and Mediterranean dishes. This variety also convinces those who do not like olives.
