Riverside Bakery cic - Balcaskie Heritage Loaf

A wholemeal loaf made using flour from the heritage grains of Scotland the Bread. The variety we currently use is called 'Balcaskie Landrace' a mix of diverse Scottish heritage long strawed wheats, sown, grown and resown together year after year to increase adaptablilty of the crop to its specific growing location.
