Christine produces a range of Everyday Bowls, ideal for food preparation and for serving. They are made from a naturally occurring clay found in the Burgundy region of France, famous for its gastronomy. They are glazed with a mossy green glaze that interacts with the high iron content of the clay to create unique rustic variations on each piece.
Christine is Director of Clay Studio, based in the Blue Building in the playground at Primary. This is an artist-run clay space offering handmade experiences and clay works for contemporary living. The courses and workshops are temporarily on hold. During this time, Christine has developed some artisanal ware for cooking and serving as well as planters for succulents, which make undemanding companions and unique gifts.
