At Gatherer we aim to produce 'farm to skein' yarn of known breed provenance from the flocks of the Breadalbane region. This yarn is our first batch so we hope you like it! The gathered fleeces are spun at a mill on the Scottish Borders so, its an all natural completely Scottish product.
This batch is a 2 ply fingering weight yarn made with rare breed Castlemilk Moorits and blended with 50% Scottish alpaca to make it super soft. Its ideal to use with 2-3mm needles and makes wonderful projects like wee gloves, shawls, hats and scarves. Gatherer yarn makes an ideal gift too. especially for yourself!
