Foragers Chillies & Herbs - Smoked Chilli Flakes

Made from fresh chillies grown from seed at Foragers in Stirlingshire. The chillies are smoked over oak wood in our smokehouse here on the farm and then dehydrated to take all the moisture out before being hand ground into flakes. It takes an average of 160g of fresh chillies to make 20g dried product. The chilli flakes are packaged in a reusable glass spice storage preserving jar with rubber seal and metal lever arm to create a air tight seal. Smoked chilli flakes will add a real smokey zing to your culinary creations and can be used to complement without overpowering your vegetarian and meat dishes.
