Forager - Wild Box

Forager gathers wild ingredients from land and sea; supplying the best edible wild foods to restaurants since 2003. From small beginnings, when a chance conversation with a waiter led to our first sale of a few handfuls of wild garlic leaf to The Goods Shed in Canterbury, we now handle over five-hundred ingredients.

These are exciting times for us here at Forager. We have been consistently providing foraged foods to restaurants and the public for over 15 years. In the recent times we have wanted to take a more educational route as more and more people seem to be loosing their connection to the Earth and their environment. We are excited to announce the launch of our very first 'Wild Box'. This idea is similar to the Veg Box but instead will contain locally foraged wild foods; some you may have heard of and some you may have not. We also understand that there can be a lack of culinary knowledge surrounding wild foods so our intention is to reinstall your trust in how to cook with them.

Every week you will find;
1. A newsletter detailing the changes that occur to us, as a company, our pickers and the foods we pick.; which ones are in and which are out.
2. Four, weekly recipes showing you how to use the wild foods you have received. Our aim is to build up your confidence with using wild foods in recipes that you will soon be able to
adapt your favourite recipes and maybe even get in the wild yourself looking for some wild goodies to enjoy.
