This award-winning wine is rich and bone dry and is characterised by notes of pear and melon on the nose with a rich soft palate of apricot and honey.
We fermented this wine in French oak barrels and left the young wine in the barrel for two months with some "battonage" or lees stirring to add depth and layers of flavour. The oak has rounded the wine without imparting any obvious oak character.
