An ancient relative of modern wheat, the spelt grain (triticum speltum) was widely grown by the Romans.
Spelt contains a moderate amount of gluten. We make or spelt bread with organic and wholemeal flour and has a distinctive flavour and texture.
Suitable for people with gluten intolerance.
