Fresh Haddock landed at the port of Scrabster, which is just along the coast from our smokehouse, is carefully selected by our buyer for Caithness Smokehouse. No artificial dyes are used in our process - just gentle smoke for several hours to achieve a product which is in such demand that it’s often sold out before the boat reaches the shore!
We buy the haddock in the morning, it is brined and dried the same day, and smoked the next day.

It can be cooked in the vacuum bag: simply drop the packet of haddock into simmering water for about 5 minutes, drain and use the liquid from the bag as an ingredient if making a sauce.

If you’d like to taste a wonderfully buttery smoked fish, you must try this!

Recipes for smoked haddock include, risotto, fish pie, Cullen Skink, Kedgeree or an Arnold Bennet omelette.!

Vacuum packed - either 1 (if large) or 2 fillets in a pack. Weight will be approx 250 grams.
