Cold smoked in the kiln to produce a distinctly smoky flavour. The butter comes in packs of approximately 125 grams. Used by many chefs to grill fish, meat, vegetables or to make a smoky sauce. (Note - very smoky taste................not so good on toast with marmalade!!!)
Just off the M40 ( Oxfordshire) in a farm restaurant called The Milk shed, Lucie has created the most amazing dish based around scrambled eggs using our smoked butter.
At the smokehouse we use it in our Cullen Skink and wouldn't make a fish pie without it.
It's our signature product!!
