Baladee - Baladee Sweet Potato Dip

A lightly spicy, warm and bright dip, side dish or snack Inspired by the old sweet potato carts on the streets of old Cairo, which would sell freshly baked sweet potatoes from small wood fired ovens served on recycled paper with a mix of spices. The sweet, rooty flavour of this dip is balanced by the gentle heat of the chilli and smoked paprika, while a hint of garlic and a squeeze of fresh lime juice give a fresh and deep savoury flavour, and finally a touch of tahini provides this dip with a unique texture and nuttiness.
