What are sunflower microgreens?

Well, they are just a miniature version of normal veg, but picked when they are young and tender seedlings (bigger than a sprout and smaller than a baby leaf), harvested when they are between 7 and 14 days old, just as the true leaves start to appear.

They are packed full of vitamins and minerals and come in a variety of flavours from nutty to spicy, to perk up any mealtime. We grow them indoors, so they will be available all year round, and we promise that we will always use only the very best untreated organic certified seeds and compost.

Generally, microgreens taste similar to their fully grown counterparts, however if you are not sure whether microgreens are for you, why not try our single variety options? Sunnies are a great way to get started, lovely and nutty, 'pleasantly squeaky' Andy says. Great enjoyed as a snack on their own, or why not pop them in a sandwich, or turn into guacamole?

Microgreens are best stored in the fridge in an airtight container. We will provide you with one with your first order, and if you decide to continue receiving a weekly supply, you can just wash it out each week and reuse it to store your fresh microgreens when they arrive.
