(FOR ADULT CATS AND DOGS ONLY) Don’t let your fury friends miss out on all the fun of microgreens!

Your adult dogs and cats will love how microgreens enrich their diet, as much as you do. You may have spotted your fury friend munching on grass in the open air, or helping themselves to your house pants. This can be a sign that they are looking for greens.

Because microgreens are harvested when they are very small (7 to 14 days from germination) they are not only bursting with nutrients and vitamins but they are also not subjected to fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides which larger vegetables can be and shouldn’t cause stomach aches, when eaten in moderation.

Why are microgreens good for our pets? Well among other things they help to boost their immune system, aid digestion, help with bone/teeth/hair development and growth, heart health and are anti-inflammatory. Leafy vegetables also have cancer fighting and cognitive benefits too. All That should get those noses shining and coats glowing!

Our starter kit contains 15g each of fresh Sunflower and Pea Shoot microgreens plus a jar of 20g of spelt Wheatgrass powder. They provide high levels of vitamins A, B-6, B-12, C, D, K, plus minerals such as potassium, magnesium, calcium and iron, proteins and essential fatty acids.

Add a small portion of microgreens into their food, a couple of times a week. These microgreens are meant to complement their main diet, so the volume should be no more than 5-8% of the meal, and will help diversify their all-round nutrition.

Just chop or blend the fresh micros and add to their regular food, and sprinkle on a teaspoon of wheatgrass powder. Why not spoil them by adding them into their favourite homemade meal. The wheatgrass has been powdered to aid digestion and the breakdown and release of nutrients, as, like us, your pets are unable to digest it whole.

Order more fresh Pea and Sunflower micros weekly and when you have used up the wheatgrass powder you can order a refill separately.

FYI if you do decide to experiment and see what your bestie goes crazy for, here is a list of some of the microgreens that dogs and cats should AVOIDED, or take in minimal quantities: Tangerine, grapes, (avoid citrus plants), onion, garlic, chives, leek, basil, rocket, sorrel, and wasabi.
