Alice's Garden - Carrot And Almond Chutney

Adapted from angel hair jam, a Middle Eastern classic made with long, thin strands of carrot from my allotment. Full flavoured, sweet and sour, this chutney goes well with mature cheese.

Needs to mature for 1 month and improves with keeping, to be ready for Christmas.

Ingredients: carrot, ginger, *malt vinegar, sugar, lemon, honey, chilli, spices, * almonds.
