After a career overseas advising smallholders and estate managers on growing fruit trees I thought it time to return to the UK and prove that I can do it myself.
In 2003 I planted 3 acres of vines and fruit trees at little Ashley near Bradford on Avon. The farm was established as a certified Soil Association organic farm where no artificial fertilisers nor herbicides or pesticides are used. The wine making has also to be organic registered hence inputs are restricted especialy sulphites which are kept to a minimum.
The farm is also biodynamic registered. I produce UK and international award winning white, rosé and red wines as well as a selection from over 100 fruit and nut trees.We hold a number of open days and offer guided tours and tastings throughout the summer. These tastings are particularly popular for business outings and hen-dos!
