We are Sarah and Andy your local microgreens farmers. Our fundamental ethos is to produce high quality food, grown very close to where it will be consumed, in a sustainable way, that uses the smallest possible amount of resources. Microgreens are tiny vegetables that are picked when they are tender seedlings, between 7 and 14 days after germination (larger than a sprout and smaller than a baby leaf). We have chosen our favourite microgreens for not only their taste but also their vitamins and nutrients and visual interest.
Micros are very versatile and can be used in a sandwich or wrap, in a smoothie or a stir-fry, or sprinkled liberally onto your plate of food. We grow them all year round which also makes them perfect to fill hungry-gaps. We use only the very best quality untreated, organic certified seeds and compost (even recycling used coffee grounds) and a splash of seaweed nutrients, with minimal use of distilled water and LED lighting.
