Taylor’s of Biggar is a small family run business, established in the 1960’s. Over the last 50 years the family have built up an exceptional reputation for its traditional Italian style Ice Cream. Although changes to the business have taken place over the years, it has remained important to the Taylor’s that they continue to use the authentic recipes that were passed down through the generations.
Milk is delivered direct to our production unit from local farms and great care is taken to always source the best and purest ingredients for our ice cream.
Taylor’s of Biggar are members of the ICA (Ice Cream Alliance), and are involved with the national competitions that are ran each year. Winning over 100 awards including Bronze, Silver and Gold medals along with the prestigious Scottish Cup for our traditional Vanilla Ice Cream. Having also entered into the Royal Highland Show, we are proud to have received both Bronze and Silver awards for both our flavoured and vanilla Ice Cream in recent years.
